MEET THE TEAM

Dr. Adeeb Khalfe is one of the few physical therapists in the nation who have residency and fellowship training to go along with Dual Board Certifications in Sports & Orthopedics. Also serving as a Team Physical Therapist for the Houston Texans, he has become a highly sought after expert in helping athletes and active adults improve their mobility and strength in a pain-free manner so they can return to the activities they enjoy and love. His clients include teenagers trying to reduce risk of injury, high level athletes looking to improve performance, and active adults who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In addition to seeing clients, Adeeb is also Lead Faculty at the Institute for Athlete Regeneration, where he travels the country to help teach courses on dry needling and sports manual therapy for athletic trainers, chiropractors, and physical therapists. His expertise in sports PT has allowed him to treat many baseball, lacrosse, football, and basketball players, as well many Crossfitters throughout the nation. Dr. Khalfe is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, trained in blood flow restriction therapy, certified in dry needling and cupping, and an emergency medical responder.

Dr. Sara Brown is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist as well as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is passionate about returning active clients to their sport. Furthermore, Dr. Sara is a Running Rehab Specialist (RRS) and is certified in Pelvic Floor Sports Therapy for women who want to stay active and pain free while pregnant or post partum. Sara has worked with many professional, collegiate and high school athletes as well as dancers, gymnasts, and cheerleaders. She has extensive knowledge with treating CrossFit athletes, has her CrossFit Level 2 certification, and is a USA Olympic Weightlifting coach. Dr. Sara places a heavy emphasis on optimizing movement patterns in athletes to improve performance, but most importantly, prevent future injury. In addition, Sara is has advanced training in Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Cupping, Regenerative Dry Needling, and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy.

Dr. Leslie Snider is a former D1 Soccer Player who received her doctorate of Physical Therapy from UTMB. She has extensive training under professional and collegiate weight lifting coaches and has been trained in Olympic lifting by USA Weightlifting. Leslie has special interests in treating knee and ACL injuries, shoulder pain, and TMJ disorders. Dr. Snider is passionate about educating and helping people remain active, and is involved in soccer and running communities. She has worked with high school and collegiate athletes and currently serves as the Imperial Soccer Club Strength and Conditioning trainer. In addition, Leslie has advanced training in Regenerative Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy. She is also certified in Emergency Response for Acute Injury and Illness.

ADOLESCENT ATHLETES

We put a big focus on injury prevention for our youth athletes. There’s no doubt that the physical demands put on younger athletes today is rigorous. As adolescents go through their athletic development, they need a coach and medical practitioner that understands how to keep them healthy while improving their performance… someone who understands how to reduce the risk of injury and start building resiliency and strength so they can play at their best and recover like a professional athlete.
