SPEAK TO A PERFORMANCE DOC

We realize some people may be “unsure” if physical therapy is the right option for them. A lot of people simply just don’t know what we do! Maybe you had a bad experience somewhere in the past? Or maybe you just don’t think it will help in the long run? If that sounds like you and you’d like to ask more questions & learn for yourself how we can help, we are more than happy to help. Please fill out the short form and tell us more about you so we can answer your questions and schedule a time to talk!

GUESS WHAT?

Movement Evolution is not your average sports performance & rehab experience. You won’t waste time laying on heat packs, or doing exercises you could do on your own time. You won’t receive treatment from gimmick machines or tools that show no evidence of working. You won’t be handed off to assistants, and you won’t receive treatment from someone treating other patients at the same time… EVER.

You WILL work 1-on-1 with an expert Doctor of Physical Therapy who is Dual-Board Certified in Sports & Orthopedics, credentials that only a few DPT’s possess. Check if your physical therapist is board certified in Sports Physical Therapy here.

Movement Evolution believes you can achieve your goal of living an active lifestyle pain free through the right attention, direction, and education.

Top 10 Questions People Ask Us

How is Movement Evolution different from a traditional physical therapy clinic?

Most clinics focus on getting you out of pain. We focus on getting you back to high-level performance—and keeping you there. At Movement Evolution, you work 1-on-1 with a sports physical therapist who also trains athletes. That means your rehab looks like intelligent training, not passive treatment. We don’t rush you through cookie-cutter exercises—we build capacity, resilience, and confidence so you can train, compete, and live without limitations.

Do you treat pain, or do you actually fix the root cause?
Pain is a signal—not the problem. We take a root-cause approach by assessing movement, strength, tissue capacity, load tolerance, and sport-specific demands. Instead of chasing symptoms, we identify why the injury happened and correct the underlying factors so it doesn’t keep coming back.
Can I still train or work out while I’m in rehab?
Yes—and we believe you should. Our goal is to keep you training safely, not shut you down. We modify loads, movements, and intensity so you continue building fitness while healing. Rehab and training aren’t separate here—they’re integrated.
Do you work with athletes or “regular people”?
Both—but we treat everyone like an athlete. Whether you play high school sports, train in CrossFit or Hyrox, run races, lift weights, or simply want to stay athletic long-term, our programs are built around performance standards, not minimum requirements. If you care about how your body performs, you’re in the right place.
What types of injuries do you specialize in?
– We specialize in orthopedic and sports-related injuries, including:
– Knee, hip, shoulder, and back pain
– Tendon injuries (Achilles, patellar, hamstring, rotator cuff)
– Running and lifting-related injuries
– Post-surgical return to sport
– Chronic pain that hasn’t responded to traditional PT
– Our strength is not just diagnosis—but knowing how to progress you back
to full performance
Why is 1-on-1 care so important?
Because results depend on attention, precision, and progression. Every session is one-on-one with your clinician. No techs or assistants. No bouncing between patients. That allows us to adjust your program in real time, progress you faster, and coach movement at a level that group-based clinics simply can’t match.
How long does it take to get results?
It depends on the injury—but most people notice meaningful improvement within the first few sessions. More importantly, we’re not just chasing short-term relief. We’re building long-term durability so you’re not stuck in a cycle of re-injury, flare-ups, or “maintenance PT.”
Do you take insurance?
Luckily for you, we are an out-of-network, performance-based clinic. That
means we get to:
– Spend more time with you and not do group based sessions
– Use advanced training methods like dry needling, adjustments,
and manual therapy and not upcharge you for them
– Progress you at the pace your body allows—not just do what the
insurance will reimburse for

Many clients choose us after feeling frustrated by rushed, insurance-driven
care that didn’t fully solve the problem.

What makes your clinicians true experts in performance and longevity?
– Our clinicians walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Come workout with
us sometime 🙂
– We don’t just rehab injuries—we train athletes. That means we
understand:
– Strength and conditioning principles
– Speed, power, and load management
– How sport and workouts actually stress the body
– This is why our athletes return not only pain-free—but stronger, faster, and
more confident than before.
Who is Movement Evolution NOT a good fit for?

– We may not be the best fit if you’re looking for:
– Passive, ineffective treatment
– Quick fixes without effort
– A high-volume, insurance-based clinic
– We’re best for people who value expert care, long-term results, and
high-level performance—and are ready to invest in their body.
